Meet the Doctor

Dr. Chynna Rae McLean was born and raised in Glace Bay, NS on Cape Breton Island. From one island to another, she attended the University of Prince Edward Island where she got her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in chemistry. In 2006, she moved to the big city and started her studies at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Upon graduation 2010, she was an associate dentist in a family practice in the Niagara region before returning to her home province of Nova Scotia, where she called Halifax home for five years.

In 2017, Chynna Rae and her husband Patrick made the decision to return to Ontario and be closer to family. They lived in beautiful Muskoka until early 2020, when they officially became residents of Meaford. Together, along with their two young daughters and a golden doodle, they are excited to part of this fantastic community.

Dr McLean is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association. She keeps current with research and technology and attends numerous continuing education courses yearly. Dr McLean believes in developing relationships and that educating her patients is as important as the treatment she provides.
