Originally from Glace Bay on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Dr. Chynna Rae McLean began her education at the University of Prince Edward Island, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemistry. She went on to attend the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, graduating in 2010.
Following graduation, Dr. McLean practiced family dentistry in the Niagara region before returning to Nova Scotia, where she called Halifax home for five years. In 2017, she and her husband, Patrick, returned to Ontario to be closer to family. After spending several years in Muskoka, they settled in Meaford in 2020, where they are proud to call home with their two daughters.
Dr. McLean is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and is a member of both the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association. She is committed to staying current with advances in dentistry through ongoing continuing education and the latest research and technology.
At the heart of Dr. McLean's approach to dentistry is building genuine, lasting relationships with her patients. She believes that helping patients understand their oral health is just as important as the treatment she provides, and she strives to make every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.
